January Commute
January Commute
January Commute is an original abstract painting using cracking paste, plaster, pumice paste and gel on canvas.
Samuel has used a palette of blues, greys and black over this textured surface to create a cooling a moody piece of art.
Samuel has used reflective spray paint and added silver leaf details to the painting to reflect light, and enhance the artwork.
This January (2023) has been particularly wet in London, and Samuel has named the piece based on the gloomy mornings he experiences during his commute to work.
‘January Commute’ is fixed within a black stained oak frame measuring 44cm x 59.5cm x 3.5cm.
