This artwork is inspired by the rainy days it was painted on in an unseasonably wet June in 2024.
Samuel layered texture on this 90cm x 90cm canvas before adding layers of acrylic paint, brushing, sponging and pouring paint down its surface.
He flicked tones of blue, black and grey over the top, reinforcing the wet theme.
