Concrete
Concrete was the name given to my first experiment using modelling cracking clay in an abstract painting.
The combination of blue and copper tones are inspired by current materials and colour trends in interiors, the industry I work in.
This high textured and beautifully detailed painting creates a big impact to the viewer, enticing them to look closer and closer into the cracks and layers created by the paint and clay.
Concrete measures 50cm x 40cm and is made using a combination of clay and acrylic paints.
