Splash
Splash is a large 90cm x 90cm abstract commission, painted for a friend.
I sold a similar painting, ‘It’s a Peacock, Janet’ while it was on exhibition at Supawan in Kings Cross so I was asked to create a similar work using the same materials and on the same sized canvas.
I love the combination of colours on ‘Splash’ and it’s overall composition. Similar to Popping Candy, Wild Flowers, and Colourfest, it uses a mixture of pouring paints, clay and acrylics to create the vibrant textured finish.
