Reptile

Reptile is a small 30cm x 40cm x 1.5cm composition using cracking clay, acrylic paints and liquid pouring paints on a cotton canvas.

The tones of green along with the antique gold reminded me of the shimmering iridescence of reptile skin, hence the name.

I love this combination of colours and the textures work well together on a small canvas, adding a pop of colour onto a side table or small wall.
