Himalayan Salt is an original abstract painting using acrylic paints and clay on canvas.
This beautiful artwork resembles an imagined landscape with pink mountains against a deep blue sky.
This composition uses one of Samuel’s favourite colour combinations to create a striking and balanced painting.
Although the painting was not inspired by The Himalayas, the resemblance of a mountain landscape and the powerful pink colour led Samuel to name the work Himalayan salt.
Himalayan Salt measures 90cm x 90cm and is fixed inside a white frame that measures 94.5cm x 94.5cm x 5.5cm with a 1cm gap between the canvas and the frame to expose its painted edges.
